Step 6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nFuse embroidered fabric to Fuse and Fleece. Set aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nFrom back fabric and Fusible Woven: Cut 3 \u2013 10 \u00bd\u201d x 10 \u00bd\u201d (we used 3 different fabrics) \u2022 Cut 2 \u2013 2\u201d x 4\u201d \u2022 Cut 4 \u2013 2\u201d x 2 \u00bd\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nApply Fusible Woven to fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nPlace 10 \u00bd\u201dsquare right side down on the ironing board. Center the 8 \u00bd\u201d square on top of the10 \u00bd\u201d square. You will need 1\u201d on each of the 4 sides of the square to make the binding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 10<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nFold edge of 10 \u00bd\u201d square to the edge of the 8 \u00bd\u201d square. You will now have a \u00bd\u201d border. Press. Fold corner so that the edge touches the inner square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nUse the glue stick on the folded edge. Fold over the white fabric. Press. Turn the square and repeat for the remaining three sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 12<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nStitch around the inside of the square at the edge of the binding. Repeat for all 3 squares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 13<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nFold the (4) 2\u201d x 2 \u00bd\u201d and the (2) 2\u201d x 4\u201d in half lengthwise right sides together. Stitch with \u00bc\u201d seam leaving a space in the middle to turn. We marked them to make it easier to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nTrim seam allowance close to stitching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 15<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nTurn right side out. Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 16<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nCut a \u00bd\u201d square of Fuse and Seal. Remove the paper backing. Insert the Fuse and Seal into the rectangle to close. Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 17<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nPlace a rectangle on the edge of the block, \u00bd\u201d from the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 18<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nUsing wash away tape, tape the rectangle to the back of the block. Turn block right side up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 19<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nPlace a small flower button on the corner of the block. Secure with tape. Stitch through all of the layers. We stitched the layers by machine. You could also stitch them by hand. After they are stitched, remove the wash away tape. Repeat for all 4 corners. Set aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 20<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nTo make the hanger: Glue the small garden tools together at the handle, after the glue has dried, wrap wire around top of handles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nUsing wire, attach a large flower button to the handles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 22<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nFold the 2\u201dx4\u201d piece over the end of the shovel and position one end of the rectangle on the back \u00bd\u201d down and the other end of the rectangle on the front. Tape in place and sew the button on the corner to secure the rectangle. Repeat for the other side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nTo make the hanger, twist 3 colors of craft wire over a pencil. Leave ends un-twisted so they can be twisted around the small garden tools to form the handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nTuck the wire ends under the rectangles to complete the handles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\nStep 25<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nAttach the remaining 2 blocks with the rectangles.
