- Measure the height of the six-pack carrier and add 1/2″
- Our sample, with additions, measures 27 1/2″ x 5 3/4″
Step 2 – Cutting
- Cut 2 pieces of fabric to the size measured in Step 1
- Cut 2 pieces of Fusible Woven to the size of the fabric
Step 3 – Pressing
- Press the Fusible Woven to the wrong side of each of the fabrics
Step 4 – Marking the Fabric
- Take one piece of fabric and wrap it around the carrier, using Expert Embroidery TearAway tape to secure it at the side
- One the long sides of the carrier, use a ruler and marking tool to mark the center of the fabric, as shown.
Step 5 – Hooping
- Hoop the Ultra Clean and Tear Plus, paper side facing up.
- Score and remove the paper.
Step 6 – Place the Fabric
- Place the marked piece of fabric on top of the Ultra Clean and Tear Plus, centering in the hoop using your markings.
Step 7 – Stitch the Design
- Place the hoop on the machine and stitch the design, following the color chart.
Step 8 – Pressing
- Remove the fabric from the hoop.
- Remove the excess stabilizer. Spritz the back of the stabilizer with water to make removal easier.
- Press face down on the Perfect Press Embroidery Cloth.
If you want designs on both sides of the carrier, repeat steps 4 through 8 for the second side.
***Just make certain both designs are facing the same direction on the fabric***
Step 9 – Construction
- Place both pieces of fabric right sides together. Pin around the edges.
- Using a 1/4″ foot, sew a seam around the rectangle, pivoting at each corner and leaving a 3″ opening on one end.
- Trim each of the four corners.
- Turn rectangle right side out using the Expert Point and Press Tool. Make sure the corners are pushed all the way out.
Step 10 – Pressing
- Press the fabric well, folding the seam allowance of the opening into the inside.
- Top stitch approximately 1/4″ from the edge.
Step 11 – Finishing
- Cut one piece of Velcro® the width of the finished wrap.
- Sew the hook piece to the wrong side of one end.
- Sew the loop piece to the right side of the other end.
Your six-pack wrap is now complete!
