Hoop StabilStick Tearaway. Score and remove the paper.
Step 2
Stitch placement stitch.
Step 3
Prep your fabrics with Fusible Woven attached to the wrong side of the fabric.
Step 4
Place fabric over placement stitch. For this project we’re using corduroy or quilting cotton and minkee. OESD Luxe Sparkle Vinyl is another fun choice!
Step 5
Stitch applique placement stitch.
Step 6
Stitch applique tack down stitch. Trim in the hoop.
Step 7
Place Stitch20 over the stitch area with tearaway tape.
Step 8
Stitch the eyes, cheeks, and face details.
Step 9
Prior to the last step—placing the backing fabric on—tear away the Stitch20.
Step 10
Place backing fabric wrong side up over the project. Stitch final tack down stitches.
Step 11
Unhoop and trim on the outside stitch line.
Step 12
Turn out Veggie Pal. Use an Expert Point and Press Tool for edges. Add stuffing a little bit at a time into the open neck.
Step 13
Trim a ½ inch by 1 ½ inch piece of Fuse and Seal. Place adhesive on the neck opening. Fuse with an iron. Allow it to cool. Remove paper and fold fabric in. Use Button Clips to hold the neck in place while you fuse the neck closure.
